New Options for Project Milestones

A new type of Project Milestone is now available! Milestones are goals that you can set for your fundraising projects. As they are achieved, they can trigger special rewards or events for your supporters.

Previously, a project owner could set Project Milestones based on how much money the project raised. For example, a Project Milestone could be set with a goal of being triggered when a project had reached $1,000 in pledges.

The option to set financial Project Milestones is still available, but now Project Milestones can also be based on the number of pledges a project has received. For example, a Project Milestone could now be be set with a goal of being triggered when a project has reached 100 pledges of support.

Milestones are important, because they show your supporters what your project's goals are. Milestones will be displayed in their own tab on the Project page, and they will be checked off as they are achieved. Projects may have any number of Milestones assigned to them.
